FREE Traffic for Your Blog

Yet another great idea from Master Marketer, John Reese,
has just come in my email last night.

This time, it's a new and innovative way of
getting completely FREE "semi targeted" traffic flowing into your
blog, and "potentially" a huge amount of it, fast.

All you have to do is sign up and then copy and paste a small
piece of code into your blog, and forget about it.

Articles Are The Quickest Way To Your Customers Wallet

One way of promoting your website and product can be achieved for free. As an additional bonus, this “free” method can boost your sites and sales, doubling and even tripling your income.

Articles. One of the easiest ways to promote your website in order to generate traffic and increase your earnings.

How does this work?

Write articles relating to your website and submit them to “free content” submission sites. Easy to do, takes little time and can increase your website traffic, sales and of course, your income.

How can article writing boost traffic and income?

The article on the free content site contains a link to your own website. Readers, after reading your articles, may choose to click on the link and pay you an unexpected visit. Having them on the free content sites is also making these articles available to other webmasters who may wish to publish that article on their site.

If they do, your article will include a link back to your site. And anyone who reads the article on that site can still click on the link to visit your site.

As the list of your published articles grow larger, and more and more of them are appearing on different websites, the total number of links to your site increases also. FREE Article Submitter Software

While article submission isn't anything shockingly new to
the world of SEO, many people STILL don't do it... and for good reason. It
takes so incredibly long to do manually.



I'll admit, I had tried article submission at one point, but
after I finally found a few article dircetories to submit my articles to,
and then after manually copying and pasting my information into the required
textboxes on each submission site, I quickly realized that my time could be
better spent doing something else.



Then I came across a free program created by Brad Callen and
Bryxen Software, Inc. that allows you to automatically submit your articles
to hundreds of article directories with a few mouse clicks. Basically all
I had to do was input my article criteria into the software, ONCE! Then, the
program would automatically fill in all of the required data at each of the
submission websites. Pretty incredible if you ask me.


The only part I didn't understand was why the program is free...
but I can't argue with that I suppose.


The software currently contains around 700 article directories,
all free to submit your articles to. It is the most straightforward program
that we've come across, in that all you need to do is:



1. Input your article details (i.e. title, article body, bio,
etc.) into the software



2. Click on the directory you want to submit to



And then the program will automatically fill in your article
details. Then, you simply click the submit button and your article is instantly
submitted to the directory. Then, you can move to the next directory, go through
the list, and by the time you're finished you'll have roughly 700 one way
links pointing to your website.



I can't think of an easier way to get links. Of course, if
you're going to get links this quickly, it's important to submit different
variations of your articles, to make things look more natural to the search
engines.

Directory Submitter Review

You may or may not know that Website Directory Submission is quickly becoming a very popular and easy way to get quality, one way links to your website.

These kind of links are exactly what the search engines are looking for. The websites with more quality, one way links are typically the sites that rank the highest, period.

With that said, there are several websites directory submission programs on the market. The best and easiest to use is a program created by Brad Callen, called Directory Submitter.

The software currently contains around 1700 website directories, all free. It is the most straightforward program that we've come across, in that all you need to do is:

1. Input your website details (i.e. title, description, URL, etc.) into the software

2. Click on the directory you want to submit to

And then the program will automatically fill in your website details. Then, you simply click the submit button and your website is instantly submitted to the directory. Easier Article Writing

Here is an easier way to create an article without having to do a lot of writing.

Go to Google and search for the keywords in the market you're interested in and add the word, "tips" at the end.

Example: Horse Training Tips

Scan through the results and write down all the tips you find in your own words.

It's important not to copy anything word for word.  Read the tips, make the information yours by writing it in your own words.

After you've written down 10-15 brief tips, type them into a text document and give the article a creatively descriptive title.

Example: Easy Horse Training Tips

Now you have an article you can use on your website and you can easily make many of these in any market you choose!

Go get some content for your sites the easy way...

What do all of the above have in common? Well, the first list I mentioned on the top are blog networks. And the second list are individual blogs that belong to a blog network.

I don't know if you realize these or not, but you should know, you can't really make it big with blogs unless you start and organize your own little empire of blogs network.

Did You Miss Visitor Sense Videos?

STEP 01 : >>> Decide Upon A Broad Category. When brainstorming ideas, you must begin with a broad category to work with. Some examples might be: weight loss, marketing, dating, travel, baseball.

So, you need that ahead of time. Figure out a broad subject that you know is popular (I.E. You know that losing weight is ALWAYS going to be a popular subject, as is “making money.”).

As an example for this article, I’m going to choose GOLF.

STEP 02 : >>> Search Amazon’s Database. After picking your broad topic to research, it’s time to visit Amazon.com.

Specifically, you’re going to SEARCH their database of books they are selling.

Upon arriving at their site, locate their SEARCH form. At the time of this writing, it was in the upper left hand corner of their main page. Pull the menu down and select BOOKS from the options.

In the space provided, type in whatever broad category you chose. I’d type in “Golf”. (You don’t need quotation marks)

If you did indeed start with a broad category, then hundreds (or even thousands) of book listings should appear as a result of the search.

STEP 03 : >>> Brainstorm Ideas From The Listings. Let the
brainstorming session begin! Now it’s time to look at the
books that are listed and write down as many possible ideas
as you can find.

Look for the different TYPES of books written about the subject, identifying different THEMES, STYLES and SUBCATEGORIES.

Let’s look at an example …

When I searched for “Golf”, I was able to immediately spot dozens of great ideas. Here are a handful …

1. Becoming a better golfer. There are many golf books available in this area, covering everything from “A-Z of Golf Shots” to specific topics such as “Improving Your Short Game.” There were lots of different themes from “learning to break 100” to “shaving 10 shots off your score” to “7 shots that will change your golf game forever.”

2. Guides to Golf Courses. Again, we have many different ideas here. Specific golf guides like “Florida golfing”, “golfing in Tennessee” and “golfing the Robert Trent Jones trail” appear, as well as books on “the best golf courses in America,” “best kept secrets: great golf courses you’ve probably never played,” and “golf vacation guides.”

3. Profiting from Golf. More ideas pour in with “opening a golf repair business,” “becoming a golf retailer,” “learning how to caddy” and “buying & selling used golf clubs.” What about “running an online golf auction”, “organizing a golf tournament for profit” or even “writing information products about golf!”

4. Golf and Business. There are millions of dollars in business deals negotiated on the golf course every single year. And there are books available to teach folks how to get it done. “How to negotiate business deals during golf outings,” “Legal golf tax deductions for businesspeople,”
and “business seminars and golf: how to mix training and fun for maximum profit” are just a few more ideas worth exploring.

5. Golf Products. My, my, my there are so many ideas floating around in here! Everything ranging from reviews of the latest golf equipment to ratings of golf courses to discounts on golf packages. Resource guides to finding the best deals on golfing products, how to negotiate discounts, and how to find the best products for your specific golf game also come to mind as product ideas.

One Broad Category (Golf) + Amazon.com Searchable Database of Books = 28 Potential Product Ideas

See how easy that was? I found TWENTY-EIGHT potential new product ideas (and there were MANY MORE that I didn’t mention in this article) from a simple brainstorming exercise using ONE “idea hangout.”

There’s got to be a best-seller in that bunch somewhere. And certainly with a little “mix -n- match” I can come up with a hit product with these ideas.

Not bad, eh?

List Profit System Secrets

How to Pull In As Much Profit As Your Wallet Will Hold With Opt-In Lists

The fortune is in the list.

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that said, well, I'd already have a fortune! :-)

However "broken-recordish" it may sound, it is a truthful statement. The fortune REALLY IS in the list.

Fact is, if you possess the knowledge of how to grow and profit from opt-in lists, you can pretty much write your own ticket.

And, if you'll read the remainder of this article, I'll pass that knowledge right on to ya.

It comes down to getting folks to do four things...

1. REQUEST. First things first, you need to convince people to "opt-in" to your list. That is, get them to join your list of their own free will.

Usually, this involves giving away a mini-course, report or newsletter from your web site. All you need is..

- An Attention Grabbing Title. (I could have chosen "4 Keys to Successful Email Promotions" for this article, but is that as attention-grabbing as "How to Pull in As Much Profit As Your Wallet Will Hold From Opt-In Lists"?)

- A Handful of Bulleted Benefits. (A short list of 4-6 desirable things subscribers will learn if they join your list. Think "what's in it for me?")

- An Opt-In Submission Form. (Your autoresponder system will provide this for you.)

NOTE: The BEST way to get folks to join is to embed the above mentioned items DIRECTLY in the most prominent place you have your site visitors' attention. Usually this is 3-5 paragraphs into your sales letter or 1/3 of the way into an ezine article.

2. RECEIVE. After visitors to your site have "requested" information by joining your list, it's critical that your emails be delivered successfully to their inbox. With all of the filters in place (among other hazards) this can be quite a chore.

One thing you'll want to do for certain is check your SPAM rating to make certain it's in an acceptable range. Again, most of the better autoresponder services offer this feature for you.

You can also do things like...

- Get your subscribers to "approve" mailings from you.

- Authenticate yourself as a legitimate mailer when you receive a "response challenge" from protection services such as Spam Arrest.

- Use alternative formats of your email messages such as "downloadable email messages" in PDF format.

3. READ. When your emails successfully arrive at the inboxes of your subscribers, another task awaits - getting them to actually open your message and read it.

This is going to depend upon your "subject line". It is paramount that your subject line be intriguing enough to convince your readers to stop what they are doing and take a look inside.

One way to get this done is to create a swipe file of email subject lines that have convinced YOU to read the messages and then modify those subject lines for your own use.

Ex. I received an email that had the subject line of "This affiliate tip is almost too easy" that caught my attention and forced me to read the associated message.

This subject line could easily be used in a variety of different niches...

- This dieting tip is almost too easy
- This time management tip is almost too easy
- This marriage saving tip is almost too easy

4. RESPOND. When you have convinced your subscribers to open your email message and read its contents, the only remaining "task" is to get them to respond.

You want them to take action. Click a link. Go somewhere. Ultimately, spend money with you.

The only way you'll be able to do this is follow a simple catch phrase I've been teaching for years: "useful, but incomplete".

It simply means this: your messages must provide content that is useful to your subscribers (otherwise, they'll unsubscribe faster than you can say "oops"!), but is also "incomplete" in that there is some additional offer that could enhance or maximize that content.

Ex. You might write an article that shares "7 Ways to Profit With Autoresponders" to send to your list. That's "useful" information to those who are interested in that particular topic. It's also "incomplete" because they need an autoresponder service to put the information into action. That's your cue to promote your recommended autoresponder service.

- Request
- Receive

I'm an observer. I watch marketers and how they work. I look at how people respond to marketing. And I've discovered something interesting over the years that I want to share with you as it relates to building your internet businepss.

Hot topics and trends pop up regularly. There's always a new "in" thing making an appearance on the radar screen. And whenever there's a new rage launched, there will be marketers who jump on the bandwagon.

That can pay off big for YOU if you're a smart observer.

Let me explain.

What happens when a new trend or technique or tool surfaces?

*** People begin to talk about it.***

Marketers begin convincing people why they need it. Consumers tell their stories. Discussions take place. Hype builds. Sometimes controversy breaks out. An education process unfolds.

Through it all ... DEMAND increases.

Now, here's where you come along and make a profit.

You "piggyback" on the popularity of the latest big hit by creating a small report on the topic. You get the benefit of other marketers creating hungry leads for your offer without them even knowing it.

* Ground-breaking news
* Hot topics of discussion
* Best-selling books
* Interest-grabbing magazine articles
* Emerging trends

The list could go on and on, right?

It shouldn't come as a big surprise that you need to monitor what's going on around you, specifically looking for the latest topic everyone's talking about.

You can do this by regularly browsing 4 trend and event "hot spots"...

1. Active Forums. Find at least one ACTIVE forum related to your market and regularly visit it to look for ideas. Keyword here is "active". The ideal forum will have a number of participants who regularly post messages.

2. News Feeds. You can begin with Google.com's news center at http://news.google.com. You should also look for a news feed or site that is specific to your field of interest. For example: I regularly visit http://ChristianHeadlines.com to stay on top of events related to some of my Christian sites.

3. Article Directories. Spend a few minutes at your favorite article directory, focusing specifically on the NEWEST articles posted and the TOP RECENT articles read. I regularly check http://goarticles.com.

4. Competitor's Lists. You'll also want to "spy" on what your competition is doing by joining their lists. When a major competitor begins highlighting certain topics in their content (I.E. "articles") and / or releases or promotes a specific product, it's a good indication that you should pay attention.

All of these things allow you to capitalize on the current buzz!

Create small reports based on these buzz-worthy topics and make some profit.

Are You Getting Bad Advice

During my research this week, I came across an ezine with a subject line that read, 'Stick with One Guru Guidance'.

I fully expected that the title was crafted with shock value simply to grab the reader's attention, and expected that the article would in fact promote the opposite viewpoint.

I was wrong.

In a nutshell, the author said that although there is lots of great Internet marketing advice available, if you read the advice of too many 'gurus', you will get confused, lose focus, and that 'complete paralysis' will be the ultimate result.

My immediate reaction was to think 'how many is TOO many?'.

Without a careful survey of different viewpoints, you can't formulate your own ideas and opinions.

Although I've been marketing online since 1997, I still spend time almost everyday researching topics relevant to my Internet businesses.

I subscribe to a number of different 'gurus' newsletters.

I surf the Web to see what's new and what has changed in the Internet marteting realm. I regularly purchase and review newly-released products and services.

Above all, I seek advice and learn from both my mentors and those I mentor.

I can't imagine choosing between (the late) Corey Rudl, or Marlon, or Yanik or a dozen others to be my only eBusiness mentor.

All are extraordinarily knowledgeable and each offers a unique perspective. I learn volumes from each and every one.

While I agree that the plethora of prescriptions for internet business success can be somewhat confusing, I trust that you, my dear readers, have ample intelligence to wade through and determine whose counsel is of value to you.

Basic study and organizational skills will help you avoid confusion.

Take notes, keep a business diary and bookmark pertinent web pages. Categorize them in ways that make sense to you.

In summary, here's a prescription for your Internet business success. Get a balanced diet of advice by selecting information from all the major gurus.

Read it, digest it, then pick one guru in every major area to follow.

Choose your guru based on your sense of trust in that person, and on the advice of others.

If you are looking through the forums for other people's thoughts on a particular guru or book or course, make DARNED sure that the person making the comment:

  1. Has actually READ the book. I see SO many people who make assumptions about products, and then it turns out that they haven't even bought the darned thing.
  2. Has actually USED the material. You'll see comments like 'the material didn't work for me'. YA. Take a look at that person's site. 100 times out of 100, you'll see that they didn't follow the plan outlined in the course. ie. The site is UGLEEEEE, and where's the form for opt-ins? Yikes!

And before you buy a product, make sure that the material is up to date. Look for a 'freshness guarantee'. For an example, visit my Super Affiliate Handbook site, and scroll down the page.

You'll see the following headline in bold black, "Is the information in the Super Affiliate Handbook current and up-to-date?" below which the month of the latest revision is posted.

The problem is not getting too much advice. You'll find that most of the 'gurus' cover the basics in much the same way.

The value you get from learning from more than one guru comes from picking up on their special techniques... and every 'guru' has got 'em.

So, pick a guru from who you'll learn and then apply the basics.

Then invest in other materials to 'round out your education' and put more tools in your tool chest.

Increasing Site Revenue: Forget the Gizmos

Forget the 3D logo. Toss the animated graphics and pictures of pretty women.

Cool scripts don't help you much
, and music will kill the deal.

What the heck am I talking about?

I'm talking about all the things webmasters and developers use to make their sites 'better'.

But better for whom?

Unless your objective is beautiful design, or to showcase your talent as a developer, those elements contribute almost nothing to your bottom line.

In fact, they often clutter and detract from your real objective which should be to sell products!

To get the message out about your product, you use words, not gizmos.

Your words persuade people to visit your site, subscribe to your newsletter and buy your or your merchants' products.

How you use your words makes the difference between your site's success or failure.

Here are two examples of how words are used to sell real estate:

1. Lakefront home on 60 feet of beach in Penticton. View.

2. Once in a lifetime opportunity to own one of Penticton's premier lakefront homes with approximately 60 ft of soft sandy beachfront. Awesome view down lake.

Which listing would persuade you to to call your realtor?

Number two, right?

But why?

If you are like most of us, you respond emotionally to the words 'premier', 'sandy' and 'awesome view'.

The 'opportunity' to live a 'premier' lifestyle, and feel the sand between your toes as you enjoy your awesome view appeals to your senses in a pleasurable way.

Appealing to your readers' emotions is critical. A few choice words can skyrocket your conversion rates.

And you don't need to be a seasoned writer or an established author to make your words sell more of your products.

Writing is a skill that can be learned like any other.

When you combine your desire to improve your writing skill with experts' books, courses, and seminars - copywriting becomes easier and much more fun.

Best of all, just a little effort to improve your writing will reap huge financial rewards.

Worth Taking a Good Look

I'm going to be honest with you...you're going to want to read this post in its entirety.

Let me start off by asking you a question...

Why Would You Trust Me?

It’s a wild and scary jungle out here on the Internet! So, why would you trust me to tell you the truth about Internet Marketing? After all, trust is in limited supply and scammers and spammers are everywhere. Online, trust is golden. But unlike gold, trust has no price; it cannot be purchased, only earned.

This blog slowly tells a story. It will soon become the full story of how to use simple, powerful marketing strategies to realistically achieve six figure incomes.

I know many people dream about this but won't be able to do it. They might give it a feeble try and give up too easily. A few others will take what I have to say and go far beyond this into seven figures.

But if you're new....and you don’t know me and whether to trust or not...I will take you back in time...

I've been in direct marketing, online and off, way before 1200 baud modems and the Macintosh SE. In the early days of computerized advertising, we used Apple Macs, PageMaker and very expensive PostScript LaserWriters to clear the way. The three “A’s” of software was Adobe, Apple and Aldus. We were out to change to world with our digital graphics and writing skills.

Today, I have evolved into a “net nerd” because I love it. I have formal education in industrial design, graphic design and advertising. Worked as an art director in large ad agencies and design studios in Los Angeles, New York, London and even Saudi Arabia.

In my younger days I paid the dues with a few years of hands on training. Then, for some years, I oversaw the print and TV campaigns for some of the world's largest corporations and personally created ads for the world's largest travel aggregator and credit card company. In total, I've had over 30 years experience in advertising and marketing and more success stories than I can even remember (maybe one day over drinks I will tell you more).

In 1976, I started my first mail order venture by writing a 376 page book and recording audio tapes to comprise a package that sold through Psychology Today Magazine ads for four years straight. In 1980, I wrote and successfully published four more books and a six video tape back-end package that produced over $175,000 income that year (as a sideline).

By 1993, I was consistently earning six figures with mail order marketing. I was working from home and wanted to teach everyone else how to share in the same success. So, I wrote more books, produced training experiences and did some consulting. You can see what one noted mail order and Internet marketer, Carl Galletti had to say about me in one of his newsletters, I am listed there along with some very recognizable names in marketing.

Moving onward…in 1994 the first glimmers of Internet caught my attention and I started a business creating websites (design, content, SEO and hosting) for 124 businesses in 12 different industries and partnered with two hosting companies, which was all sold in 1998 for a tidy profit.

But you don't have to start trusting me on just these words. I have many testimonials from powerful people. I have hundreds of thank you letters, from ordinary people, who have been able to quit their day jobs and take control of their destinies because of my training.

But rather than filling up space to reproduce them here and ask you to take the time to read them, why not just ask around or Google me? Chances are, you will quickly find an interesting thing or two about my background.

So, in the end, if you don't know who to trust, ask around. Those of us who are out front and don't hide behind blank websites, help desks, support tickets and virtual assistants, will try to personally answer your email and help you however we can.

But in case you don't find anyone to ask...just know, I've been “doing the web thing” since the beginning of the Net Revolution. I've been blazing technological trails, preaching marketing truth, making it easier for people like you to succeed. Follow me if you want, but by the time you get to where I am, I'll be in front and looking around the next corner, creating new paths to follow...‘cause that's exactly what I do...
